Alice Chen is a Director in CNM’s Los Angeles office with 11 years of experience in public accounting, including over 8 years in financial reporting advisory. Her primary expertise lies in technical accounting, SEC reporting, and GAAP conversion between U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Prior to joining CNM, Alice worked at DLA and EY as a senior manager, overseeing accounting and financial reporting advisory projects. She has extensive experience in technical accounting, external audit, internal control design and implementation in accordance with SOX 404, and GAAP conversion. Alice specializes in financial reporting matters, assisting in the adoption of new accounting standards such as revenue recognition and leases, preparing registration statements with the SEC, and addressing technical accounting topics including business combinations, debt and equity issuance, and stock-based compensation.
