Bill Strong is President at CNM, with over 25 years of experience in finance, operations, and corporate development. His expertise includes various financial and operational functions, including accounting, corporate finance, legal, information technology, sustainability, real estate, regulatory and compliance, supply chain, and international operations. Strong collaborates with CNM’s Managing Partner to further develop the firm’s personnel and culture while spearheading global business operations and strategic initiatives to support the firm’s continued growth.
Prior to joining CNM, Bill spent 6+ years as Chief Financial Officer of Apeel Sciences, where he focused largely on leading capital strategy, planning, organizational structure, operations, regulatory affairs, sustainability, and global expansion. Bill raised over $635 Million for the company, built the global team to 500+ employees across four continents, and commercialized the technology across major US and European retailers. Bill started his career in audit at Ernst & Young, where he fell in love with his startup and growth technology clients. Following his time there, he spent several years in operational finance roles at Idealab and has spent the past 20+ years in various roles from founder to CFO helping over 20 venture and private-equity-backed startup and growth companies through the unique challenges they face.
