Clay Young is a Senior Marketplace Advisor in CNM’s Los Angeles office with 33 years of experience in IT internal and external audit, cybersecurity implementation and auditing, IT SOX assessment, SOC reporting, Governance Risk and Compliance, and financial audit. Clay is a member of the Professional Practice Group (PPG) and provides practice leadership in IT Audit, IT SOX, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, and Process Automation. His role is to deliver his depth of experience to these teams and the marketplace. Clay is also responsible for producing thought leadership for external publication and eminence activities.
Prior to joining CNM, Clay was a recently retired senior partner from Deloitte & Touche LLP, where he served in both the Audit department and the Risk and Financial Advisory practice areas. He specialized in IT/Cybersecurity internal controls and held several practice and client leadership roles, including most recently as the U.S. IT/Cybersecurity Internal Audit practice leader.
