Dominic Zumbo is a Director in CNM’s Los Angeles office with 11 years of experience in Internal Audit. His primary experience is in IT Internal Audit and Sarbanes Oxley compliance for pre-IPO and public companies. Dominic is responsible for managing the life cycle of the projects, which assess the design adequacy and operating effectiveness of general IT controls; ensuring proper focus, pace, and execution of audit activities. Dominic’s experience in Internal Audit projects includes Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Planning, Segregation of Duties Review, and Post-Implementation System review.
Prior to joining CNM, Dominic worked for Comcast NBC Universal, where Dominic supervised SOX compliance engagements for critical departments and reviewed SSAE16, SOC1, and SOC2 audit reports. He managed the life cycle of projects at the company and developed audit plans for SOX technologies. Dominic also served as an IT Audit Manager at Protiviti, where he oversaw multiple projects across industries as varied as banking, healthcare, entertainment, technology, and media. He performed post-implementation system reviews, data center relocations, and multiple types of IT audits.
