Emad Bibawi is CNM’s New York Office Managing Partner with over 25 years of global experience in governance, risk management, and advisory services. He is recognized for aligning risk, control, and strategy to drive resilient growth across complex, multinational organizations.

Prior to joining CNM, Emad served as the Advisory Office Leader for KPMG New York. He led the firm’s internal audit co-source engagement in Europe, driving strategic collaboration and cross-border business growth. Throughout his career, Emad has overseen complex SOX, internal audit, and outsourcing engagements. He has built high-performing teams to optimize processes and manage regulatory exposure. Emad built a reputation as a trusted advisor to boards and executive leadership teams, helping organizations strengthen internal controls, enhance governance frameworks, and manage complex transformation initiatives. His leadership emphasized innovation, accountability, and sustainable business performance. Before his leadership roles in the United States, Emad had held senior positions across KPMG’s international network, including assignments in France and Switzerland. His global perspective and ability to unite diverse teams enabled him to deliver integrated, forward-looking solutions that balanced regulatory demands with strategic opportunity, including leading teams through the most extensive quality assurance review of an internal audit for one of the largest global banks.
