Jamaica Lazaro is a Director in CNM’s New York office with 13 years of experience in public accounting. Her primary expertise includes technical support on complex accounting matters, implementation of new accounting pronouncements, and financial reporting.
Prior to joining CNM, Jamaica worked in audit and assurance, where she planned, determined, and coordinated with clients the scope, extent, and timing of audits, developed appropriate audit strategy and managed project financials. She provided guidance to clients on reporting requirements under US GAAP and IFRS, stayed informed and up-to-date on the technical matters and professional standards, and researched various accounting pronouncements and industry standards pertaining to assigned clients. She served public and private companies in various industries and managed group audit engagements with locations globally.
