Director

Jeff Flaherty is a Director in Los Angeles with over 10 years of experience in public accounting and accounting advisory. He specializes in technical accounting, including ASC 606 revenue recognition implementation, business combination and consolidation, leases, stock-based compensation transactions, financial instruments, as well as numerous other subject matters. Jeff has drafted, analyzed, and reviewed accounting policy memos for clients as well as lead teams and projects in such technical areas. Recently, Jeff has helped clients successful complete SPAC IPOs, assisting through the entire process, including SEC financial statement uplift, preparation of filing documents such as the pro forma financial information and other financial reporting, and operational assistance.

Prior to joining CNM, Jeff worked at Deloitte as an External Audit Manager, where he managed the execution of all phases of the audit process, including planning, performing and reviewing substantive testing and financial analysis, testing internal control compliance in accordance with AICPA and PCAOB/SOX standards, and presenting findings to management. His clients include both public and private companies in various industries with revenues ranging from $200 million to $2 billion. Additionally, he assisted with the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements for various clients, including drafting of footnote disclosures for private companies in accordance with industry standards.
