Kevin Hensel is a Managing Director in CNM’s Los Angeles office with 17 years of experience in IT audit, IT security, risk management, and data analytics. He manages IT SOX and internal audit engagements with a focus on the financial services, technology, real estate, media & entertainment, gaming, and consumer products industries. He has extensive experience with SAP, Oracle ERP / Fusion Cloud, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, and Microsoft Dynamics applications.
Prior to joining CNM, Kevin worked as a Senior Manager at EY in the Technology Risk group. Kevin has experience supervising and managing integrated audit engagements, supporting projects including IT general controls review, IT application controls review, system implementation pre/post-assessment, & SOC1 report review across more than 100 clients. Kevin has experience working with international clients, including being based in Tokyo for three years on a secondment to assist with IT audit execution and global coordination for several major financial services clients. Further, he has managed IT internal audit engagements and was responsible for the overall coordination and execution of various data analytics projects around contract risk, data privacy / security, voting tabulation, and financial analytics.
