Director

Loida Sykioco is a Director in CNM’s New York office with over 16 years of experience in public accounting. Loida specializes in SOX readiness, SOX compliance, process improvement, internal audit, as well as financial and operational risks. She is responsible for managing BP SOX engagements, ensuring timely completion and submission of quality deliverables through proper development of audit strategies, and workpaper reviews. She is also responsible for remediating engagement findings with management.

Prior to joining CNM, Loida worked at Grant Thornton LLP as an Experienced Manager of Risks, Compliance and Controls specializing in SOX readiness, SOX compliance and internal audit. Here, she led internal teams for various clients in the oil & gas, biotechnology & pharmaceutical, consumer & industrial products, as well as real estate & hospitality industries. Loida also served as a financial statement auditor at Grant Thornton LLP, Deloitte Malta and P&A Grant Thornton Philippines, where she led and executed IFRS and US GAAP financial statement audits for clients in consumer & industrial products, real estate, aviation and not-for-profit industries. Loida is experienced in presenting and interfacing with board members, senior executives, and operational staff alike to bring in best practices.
