Roberto Garcia

Director

Roberto Garcia is a Director in CNM’s Los Angeles office with over 17 years of experience in public accounting. His primary experience includes: financial statement and internal control audits of commercial companies; holding interim accounting controller roles to facilitate accounting closes for SEC and international companies; and technical accounting projects on topics including revenue recognition, business combinations, consolidation, derivative instruments, and lease accounting.

Prior to joining CNM, Roberto worked in the real estate and technology audit practices at Ernst & Young (EY), serving private and public companies. He was also part of the audit teams that took Box and Survey Monkey public. Roberto has also worked as a National Assurance Senior Manager at Eide Bailly, where he reviewed technical accounting memos and served as a quality reviewer on high-risk audits, and led firm-wide system projects, including the implementation of new lease software.
