Sophie Langis is a Managing Director in CNM’s Orange County Internal Audit Practice with 13 years of experience in public and private accounting, internal audit, risk management, business process improvement and SOX. Sophie’s experience includes working with companies to successfully achieve compliance and risk management through her familiarity and collaboration with industry best practices. She also brings forward relevant public and private company experience to enable a streamlined internal control environment, while minimizing the client’s efforts and resources to maintain an optimal risk management posture.
Prior to joining CNM, Sophie worked as a Senior Manager within Nike Inc.’s Global Risk Management team, where she led internal audit projects specializing in areas of finance, controllership, human resources, data privacy, vendor management, source to pay, order to cash, supply chain, and led innovative projects leveraging continuous assurance capabilities and data analytics. She also participated in the creation of Nike’s Integrated Risk Management program. Earlier in her career, she worked in Ernst & Young’s Public Accounting and Advisory practice, including a 2-year rotation as a co-sourced internal audit resource at The Walt Disney Company, and in Protiviti’s compliance practice leading co-sourced SOX and Internal audit engagements for public companies.
