Xavier Gomez is a Partner in CNM’s Los Angeles office with over 18 years of experience in financial reporting and technical accounting. Xavier leads CNM’s accounting and transaction services in our Los Angeles office and focuses on ensuring that we provide value-add advisory services to our clients. He has extensive knowledge in assisting several clients with accounting related to certain technical transactions, including but not limited to revenue recognition, the issuance of debt and equity financing, share-based compensation, and debt restructuring. He also has extensive GAAP and SEC reporting experience obtained from his roles leading our IPO and SPAC clients, providing advisory services throughout that lifecycle, which includes initial IPO readiness discussions, completion of interim and annual financial statements, the preparation and filing of a registration statement, and technical accounting and financial reporting support as a public company.
Prior to joining CNM, Xavier worked at Ernst and Young’s Audit Assurance practice working in the technology and consumer product industries in Los Angeles and New York. He has extensive knowledge in assisting several technologies and consumer product clients with the accounting related to revenue recognition with multiple-element arrangements, inventory, and share-based compensation.
