Yasmin Nelson is a Director at CNM’s Los Angeles Office with more than 12 years of experience in both public and private accounting. Yasmin is responsible for planning and coordinating various projects, which include Sarbanes-Oxley and internal controls for several different industries. She works with the operations and engagement team to confirm the needs and expectation of the project are being met. In addition, Yasmin assists with the implementation of effective and efficient internal control environment for Sarbanes-Oxley 404(a) and 404(b) clients, including coordinating efforts with external auditors. Her areas of expertise include financial and operation audits/accounting, internal controls, risk assessments, testing and Sarbanes-Oxley.
Prior to joining CNM, Yasmin worked at PwC as a senior in the Assurance and Advisory Practice where she planned and executed audits for public and private companies. She executed all phases of the audit process including planning, substantive testing, financial analysis, and review and analysis of internal control compliance. Yasmin also coordinated and conducted integrated financial audit statements and oversaw the completion of audited financial statements.
